Olio Nece Terre di Siena DOP is an emerald green organic extra virgin olive oil lit by flashes of gold. It opens linear on the nose with gentle tones of mown grass, apple and kiwi, accents of thistle leaf and dark notes of eggplant and sage. The mouth is structured, fatty matter well managed by the tactile presence of spiciness and bitterness. Long finish with memories of artichoke.
Medium fruity, it goes well with fettunta, gnocchi alla fiorentina, rabbit in porchetta and potatoes with pepper, chocolate sorbet.
Olio Nece is obtained from the pressing of olives harvested while still green to ensure a high presence of chlorophylls and polyphenols that are perceived by organoleptic examination in a positive way with merits of a greater fruity , bitter and spicy timbre. Pressing takes place within a maximum of 12 hours after harvest.
