Olio Nece at International EVOO Seminars in Canada and California

The events were organized as part of the “Savor Quality from Europe” project in collaboration with the Consorzio del Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, creating an important opportunity to promote Tuscan excellence abroad through wine and extra virgin olive oil culture.

From Los Angeles and San Francisco to Vancouver and Calgary, these experiences represented a meaningful occasion to share the traditions, values and sensory richness of Tuscan olive oil with an international audience increasingly interested in authenticity, traceability and premium agricultural products.

During the seminars, participants explored the world of Tuscan extra virgin olive oil through guided tastings focused on aroma, bitterness, pungency and the distinctive characteristics of the Tuscan cultivars traditionally used in high-quality blends. Particular attention was dedicated to olive oil culture, the importance of freshness and the role of territory in defining the identity of a true Tuscan EVOO.

One of the most inspiring aspects of the journey was the strong interest shown toward Tuscany itself. Beyond the oil, many participants expressed curiosity about the landscapes of the Crete Senesi, olive harvesting traditions and olive oil tourism experiences connected to authentic agricultural estates.

These international events also represented an opportunity to continue promoting the values that define Olio Nece: quality over quantity, transparency, traceability and deep respect for the land.

Following the recent Gold Award received at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition and the feature published by Olive Oil Times, the journey of Olio Nece continues with the goal of sharing the culture of authentic Tuscan EVOO beyond Italy’s borders.

The seminars also created meaningful moments of dialogue and cultural exchange around authentic Tuscan extra virgin olive oil. Some highlights shared by one of the participants can be viewed here:
